Emergency First Aid and Ham Radio classes

First Aid Class

Provided we get enough participants, our next Emergency First Aid class will be held on Wednesday November 28th – that’s next week.

You will receive hands-on experience under a  Red Cross Certified instructor.

Cost for the evening, including certification, and a 180-page take-home book, the “First Aid Participants Manual,”  valued at $19.95, is $49.95 total. This is at least $20 LESS than comparable classes elsewhere.

Please call to reserve a spot. We can take payment over the phone, or in person in the store.
If for any reason the class has to be cancelled you will receive a full refund.

Call The Portland Preparedness Center, 503 252 2525 (mon – Sat 9 – 6) to ensure your place is reserved.

Ham Radio Classes

By popular demand we are running another series of four classes for those who want to study and obtain their Ham Radio Technicians Certification.

They will be held on Thursday evenings, starting at 7pm on Thursday November 29, then Dec 6, 13, and 20.

Instructors are experienced military and civilian Ham Radio experts. They are available as mentors (Elmers) for individual instruction during, between, and following the classes.

Fee includes the essential Ham Radio book that you must study between classes because you will be tested on the fourth evening to pass this first license.

Cost per participant for four classes, including the essential study book (a $21.95 value), is $79.95.

Call the Portland Preparedness Center to reserve a seat.

Full refunds will be given if for any reason the classes do not go ahead.

503 252 2525

We’re open Mon – Sat 10 – 6.

Sincerely.

Michael Knight.
