Cans contain 12 oz of butter which works out to three traditional sticks of butter.
Just like our canned cheese, which will store indefinitely, no one knows just how long this canned butter will store. They’re telling us “indefinitely.” As with any storable food, the cooler you can keep it, the longer it will last on the shelf. (We’ve eaten it 3-years-old and one of our customers has eaten it 6 years old.) This is the ideal product to store on your boat or yacht to take with you sailing. Or to take with you camping. It’s ideal to have on hand to prevent an extra trip to the grocery or corner store when you run out of non-storable butter.
And for those of you storing food for any emergency situation, it’s what you’ve always wanted. No longer will your cooking be limited by powdered butter or margarine. You can now have real, storable butter!
